Because of course we are. It's the American way. This is under the guise that our government cares about the Venezuelan people. There is always some lie that feed us, so we don't ask questions. I mean, it couldn't possibly be because of their gold reserves that are largely blocked as imports, their iron/ore stash, and other metals that we use. Most of which have been halted before we attacked due to sanctions. Yeah...it's highly unlikely that has anything to do with it.

I think Trump said it just about right... "WE DO NOT WANT to leave Venezuela to quickly, and let the nation fall RIGHT BACK into the same situation as before"...
WHAT'S WRONG with THAT... UNLESS you are a Russia or China supporter, a NARCO Terrorist SUPPORTER, OR seek power for yourself..and see yourself as the NEXT pip-squeak dictator ?
ALL OF THOSE would be BAD for Venezuela ! THIS SHOULD take some time... and GIVE Venezuelan the benefit of their OIL, UNTIL they are READY to take back control for themselves !

The Country is in vaccuum. Looks like we might and should end up with boots on the ground to protect innocent civilians but.. that is not the conservative way.
