A straw purchaser is someone who buys guns and sells them to people who are unable to pass a background check.I still don't understand how you classify David Gregory and Mark Kelly as straw purchasers.You STILL haven't read my post! Will that help?I never claimed to be smart.Damn good thing you didn't,,,,I read an article recently where it said that most of the illegal guns used in Chicago come from Cook County Illinois, and many of them from one gun shop named, believe it or not, Chuck's Gun Store, most likely bought by straw purchasers.The why isn't the "straw purchaser" locked up?The records exist, it would be easy to put this guy on a do not approve list, so how is he still doing it?The short answer is he ain'tI don't really get that whole car/gun analogy.When people are killed by autos, it's usually accidental.How many mass killings are committed by people using their car to mow down a bunch of people?Two points,One is that driving a car isn't a specifically listed constitutional right,The second is that you aren't really interested in the deaths, but rather how they died. And you are willing to punish the whole of society for the actions of a few, who cause only a statistical blimp in the number of deaths in total.Using your logic, we should ban all abortions because of a few who killed live babies who survived the abortion. (Something your main man OBama voted against making illegal, BTW)
