I believe "compensation for services" to be what her personally does; that seems to be what the Framers intended.
For example, if a president produced an agricultural product that was at some point bought by a foreign government, was he barred from serving as president? Was he obliged to sell his farm?

There are already lots of legal experts who have weighed in on this including Richard Painter, who was Chief Ethics Counsel for George W. Bush, and Norman Eisen, who was Chief Ethics Counsel for Barack Obama.
They have both been very vocal on the issue.
