I was making the point that any industry is terribly vulnerable to federal power. The only ones who are terribly vulnerable are we taxpayers, to private industry and the members of Congress that they own. They seem to get whatever they want. "The only ones?" Great job at ignoring my point about how Obama is driving most coal-generated electricity plants out of business. Like Obama-care will drive most health insurance companies out of business in the medium term future. It is unpreventable that big government programs like Medicare, Medicaid etc. will lead to multiple disasters; exploitation by Big Business, shortages, declining service and shortages, looming bankruptcy. Duuuh. Question: Why is Medicare, the nation's largest purchaser of drugs, prohibited by law from bargaining for better prices? Answer: That would be because Big Pharma's lobbyists wrote the Medicare Part D bill. Medicare Part D has been a huge windfall for the pharmaceutical industry. No, because the massive power of a the biggest purchaser would reduce profits to the point that there would be minimal incentive to develop more drugs. Minimal profit, minimal investment. Duuh again. Little Miss Marxist won't touch Obama's 11% real unemployment rate
