I said if HRC had a good lead in the polls, I was probably going to write in the name of John Kasich, which is why I researched the write in rules for my state.
But since the polls were close on election day (and the fact that my husband begged me not to) I decided not to cast a protest vote.
This was the first time since 1988 that a Republican won my state, so I was pretty sure that she wouldn't need my vote anyway.
Turns out she needed mine and a whole lot more.
I have family members who didn't even vote, and I have castigated them for it.
ok.
But I fail to see the issue with a person choosing to write in a candidate particularly when neither candidate was appealing to the person.
