Why is Obama ignoring the case of Don Siegelman?
Just saw this on Twitter and I was shocked to learn that Siegelman was still sitting in jail.
I haven't heard that name in years, but I remember the case very well.
Siegelman is rotting in jail while Karl 'Hamhead' Rove roams free.
The Bush-Cheney-Rove Justice Department prosecuted 600 elected officials plus 2,500 collateral cases (children, elderly parents, children of defense lawyers, etc), and 85 percent of the officials were Democrats.

I will never forget the case of a Wisconsin state employee who was prosecuted and sent to federal prison in an effort to hurt the reelection chances of the Democratic Governor, Jim Doyle.
Miss Thompson lost her home and spent 4 months in prison.
The appeals court threw out her conviction within hours of hearing the case, which is very unusual.

During oral arguments one of the members the three-judge panel said the charges against Thompson were unfounded.
"I have to say it strikes me that your evidence is beyond thin," federal Appeals Judge Diane Wood told prosecutors.
"I'm not sure what your actual theory in this case is."
