Back during the campaign, Chuck Todd asked Trump where he got his military advice from and Trump said, "I watch the shows."
It looks like Trump still gets a lot of his ideas directly from watching TV.
Last night Bill O'Reilly had a segment about the violence in Chicago where he used the word 'carnage' cited some statistics and then asked, "Can the Feds go in?"
Shortly after that Trump Tweeted this:
Note that he used the word 'carnage' in quotes, cited the same statistics and suggested sending in the Feds.
That came right from O'Reilly's mouth.
