It is my HOPE that in the scenario I described, you would have sex with your wife. In that scenario, she is clearly asking for sex. You are her husband. You should not leave her hanging.

Just because YOU would have sex with your wife (an assumption now in question, since you needed clarification and are clearly a bathroomer, anyway), that does not mean the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT has the right to have sex with your wife.

Likewise, just because YOU might conceivably (I doubt you have the guts - but I'm playing along, Nancy) torture the entirely imaginary kidnapper of your perfectly UN-kidnapped daughter, that does not mean we should vote for the federal government to operate TORTURE CHAMBERS, you romantic, imaginative, effeminate little fop.

I'll tell you what I get. You are a despicable human being that would let his daughter suffer immeasurably and DIE at the hands of a just as despicable human being as you so you could tell everyone you wouldn't water board anyone. And - just as importantly - you're a despicable human being that would let our troops die at the hands of just as despicable human beings as you because you wouldn't water board anyone.
