Will Sessions be able to say no to 45?
I have very strong doubts.
And it is clear that 45 does not respect the independence of the DOJ.

45's statement after firing Yates reads in part:
She betrayed the DOJ?
She is weak on borders and very weak on illegal Immigration?
Then why did they ask her to stay on?
Obama politicized the DoJ with Holder and then Lynch.
There has been no "independence of the DoJ" under the former administration.
Why whine about it now? Because you're scared?

Yates wasn't "asked to stay on", she was a temporary bridge to the new DoJ when Session was confirmed.
Nothing more, nothing less.
