And why did 45 keep the truth from Pence after he was informed that Flynn did in fact discuss the sanctions with Russia?
He was willing to let Pence continue the lie.
If I were Pence, I wouldn't trust my boss.

Flynn wasn't fired because he lied, he was fired because the truth was leaked.
