So to wrap up the week, the president sent Congress on a wild goose chase looking into his ridiculous claim that Obama tapped his phone.
When two intelligence committees came back and said they found no evidence of that, he sent his press secretary out to spar with reporters and read 7 minutes and 50 seconds worth of media reports to back up his claim, none of which backed up his claim.
Aside from quoting Sean Hannity and a bunch of wingnut sites, Spicer read a quote from FOX News contributor Judge Andrew Napolitano that said that a British intellgence agency conspired with Obama to tap his phones, setting off an international incident.
45 then met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, joked with her about how they both had their phones tapped by Obama and then to her horror, accused a German reporter who asked a question of spreading FAKE news.
Then he jetted off to Florida for yet another 3 million dollar golf weekend, leaving the mess he created behind him for others to clean up.
