I am going to do the unthinkable and say the little darling is right, Misty. There is a REASON Jesus made two distinct words, and that reason is they DON'T mean the same thing. Proof is proof and evidence is evidence. If you have ENOUGH evidence, you can prove your case. A little bit of evidence does not constitute proof. At most, it causes us to look for more evidence - to look for proof.
