I don't know how Joseph diGenova would know anything about what the overheard conversations were about, but I haven't heard anyone say that they involved illegal activity by Trump associates, so why is he even arguing that the conversations were perfectly legal?
And he apparently does not know that unmasking is not illegal.
When anyone asks for a name to be unmasked it goes through a detailed legal process and there is a written record kept of who requested the unmasking.
Susan Rice has denied that there were any spreadsheets created.

She did not allege that there was any illegal activity by Trump associates overheard.
In fact she would not reveal much of anything, because it is classified.
It seems like the people trying to deflect from the Russia investigations by attacking the Obama administration are the ones now leaking a lot of classified info.
Nunes did that when he talked about the existence of FISA warrants.
