There is nothing wrong with an incoming president asking the State Dep't or the outgoing administration to help create those contacts, so why did it have to be back-channel?
Trump spoke to several world leaders during the transition.
Why the secrecy with just this one?
1. tRump DID speak with putin - Nov. 15th.
tRump and Putin, sitting in a tree
2. The outgoing administration was hostile - on the record - to the incoming. Obama had joked that tRump would never be pResident, and had stated many times that he was very confident the American people would not choose such an eminently unqualified leader. Many in Obama's inner circle, and their allies, had most adamantly avowed the same. Obama has since remained in Worshington to cause the next administration trouble. He spied on tRump, according to an underling who blurted that truth into the bubble. Any attempt tRump made to insulate himself from a political enemy is understandable. You're pretending that an anti-establishment candidate would just
naturally trust the establishment candidate whose chosen successor he had bested - an invalid pretense
on its face. It's implicitly preposterous.
3. Who SAYS he didn't back channel to other leaders? You? Are you going to be the first person ever to prove a negative?
4. Who says that Obama had a back channel to Putin that he was willing to share with tRump? Link?
5. Your objection
still does not put any there there. There just isn't anything there - this **** is a housebound dog barking at wind.
