No, the dumbest thing he could have said was there is a "Red Line" NK cannot cross without consequence.

Then abandon that Red Line in full view of the world.

Or another really stupid thing he could have done was to talk for months, years, about being tough, as we did little to back those words up.

Oh gosh, didn't Obama do that already?
