Given that the private sector is far more efficient than the government, there might well be the same service at lower cost. I don't know. You obviously don't get your health care through a private insurance company, since you seem to know nothing about how they operate. Profit is what it's all about for them. As people get older they tend to need to see a doctor more often. What possible incentive would a private insurance company have to want to insure old people? This is why Medicare was started to begin with, and Republicans have been trying to kill it since before it even passed, starting with your Messiah Ronald Reagan. Once again I ask you for the 30th time or so, how would you close the $1.6 trillion Obama/Democrat deficit? How would you prevent the literal bankruptcy of the country? You'll punt of course, lying coward that you are.I have quite a list of things that I would like to see happen, but why should I tell you what they are?I know exactly what the result will be.You'll call me a moonbat, and a variety of other childish names, including a lying partisan hack, and then you'll accuse me of spreading Democrat Talking Point Lies.So if I'm a moonbat who lies through her teeth and spreads talking points, then why do you care what I think?Speaking of talking points....have you gotten your marching orders yet from the right wing opinion pieces that you regurgitate so often, about how to sell the Paul Ryan Budget plan? Here's a hint. Two things I noticed about Paul Ryan. He must have met with Frank Luntz and been instructed on which words to use when he talks about his plan. I noticed that he says that his plan will help Americans by making them 'self-sufficient' which basically means, you're on your own seniors. And he uses the phrase 'revenue neutral', when talking about the tax cuts for himself and his rich buddies in the plan. More Republican hogsnot.Currently members of Congress like Paul Ryan are paid a base salary of $174,000 per year. For this salary, they are currently taxed in the 33 percent income tax bracket, but Ryan's budget would have them taxed instead at the 25 percent rate currently enjoyed by individuals who make between $34,001 and $82,400.This amounts to a tax cut for members of Congress like Paul Ryan of $13,920 per year! For Speaker of the House John Boehner, who makes $223,500 per year, who is also currently situated in the 33 percent tax bracket, he will see a base increase in take-home pay of $17,880.(Someone hand Boehner a tissue when he hears about this.)(For more tax bracket info check out the figures at bankrate.com.)You're a typical Republican piece of **** doing the bidding for these greedy bastards who take more and more for themselves while they defecate all over old people, children, the middle class and the poor.I have nothing but contempt for you and your ilk.So what is it Puss? The VA? You must be getting some kind of government run health care, because you don't want us to know about it. Edited by MistyBlue, 05 April 2011 - 09:46 PM.
