Oh my gosh, how utterly ridiculous. Arguably the worst thing he did is interfere with the process of justice to save Hillary Clinton from indictment for the many felonies she committed.
As Rosenstein noted, he usurped power meant for professionals in the Justice Dept. It is absolutely not the job of the FBI to declare who should be indicted and who should not.
Further, Comey mis-represented what the law is by lying that intent was necessary for prosecution, then ridiculously claimed that "extremely careless" with classified info is not "gross negligence."
Loretta Lynch could not have made that decision, so it could have been left to someone in the Obama Justice Dept. who had integrity and courage.

I reserve judgment over how Comey was fired, but he absolutely should have been.I'm sure that 45's loyal Trumpkins will defend this, just like they do everything else he does, and the thought of that makes me sick to my stomach.
And I strongly suspect Trump had strong reasons to do so when Comey was out of DC.
