Are you basing that on the WAPO account, basically calling McMaster a liar, or do you have independent sources confirming that basis of that question?

Nobody has proved that there the information you are referring to was actually discussed.

And in reality the President is the ultimate authority in determining what is and isn't classified although they should use that authority judiciously.

In essence your line of questioning is irrelevant until you find proof from other than an unnamed source for a news organization that has been burnt as of late by unnamed sources.
