From what I read, the tweet wasn't viewed as an official statement from Tesla, therefore it was basically considered "casual conversation" so to speak.
It would be kinda like Musk making the statement at a cocktail party instead of making an official press release about the future of the company.
That was just the way it was framed in the op-ed I read a week or so ago.
Yes, but it caused damages of literally billions of dollars. It was no small thing. Official or not, he said it for the shareholders to read with conviction.
