I never said that members of ANTIFA did not come from out of state.
But Heather Heyer and the two friends she attended the counter-protest with were residents of Charlottesville and they were not members of ANTIFA.
The people in the image are dressed in black and holding plastic garbage pails.
The members of the militia from PA that I posted are wearing body armor, and are armed with batons and AR-15 rifles.
Not quite the equivalent.
I don't know much about ANTIFA, but it seems like they have grown out of a desire to condemn the hate and racism on display at these white supremacist/ neo-Nazi rallies.
You guys love to pretend that ANTIFA are part of the Democratic Party and that all Democrats/Liberals support ANTIFA. Neither of those things are true.
ANTIFA's political beliefs might lean toward the left, often toward the far left, but they do not conform with the Democratic Party platform.
And run of the mill Libs/Dems do not support the use of vandalism or violence.
That said, the violence is out of hand on both sides.
And unfortunately we have a POTUS who refuses to issue a full- throated condemnation of the white supremacists and Nazis who support him.
He needs to tell them in no uncertain terms that he does want their support and that they are not welcome in the Republican Party.
Other Republicans have done that in the past.
Why won't he do it?

Why don't you ask him to post the quote where I professed my love for them.
