Actually, RichClem is correct. Obama has literally spent 3.1 trillion dollars within 2 yrs. That's a record even by democrate standards. Yes, of course the republicans have done their share of exploding the deficit, but no where near Obama. Not by a long shot.Bush's two wars, his tax cuts, and his crashing of the economy (lower revenues) are a big part of the current deficit. He's the gift that keeps on giving.What is worse is that the democrates have no desire whatsoever to cut the spending.Not true. Republicans refuse to even entertain the idea of raising revenues, even if it just means closing tax loopholes.
