A lot of jobs. Mostly to women since the men were out fighting. A lot of the private sector flourished due to tool making, ship and plane construction, and even hollywood. They made a lot of films during that era. Additionally, Americans were forced to buy less of overseas goods and instead they bought American products. yes, I guess you are correct. we will probably not agree, but thats ok:)
