So what's your point, that because some conservatives do the wrong thing, we should further undermine marriage by allowing homosexual marriage?No, let's strengthen marriage by repealing one-party divorce, by strengthening its contract, by acknowledging that liberals were wrong for decades in pushing divorce and claiming it would help women and children.How preposterous.So better to force someone to remain in a nightmare mairrage? That sounds like a VERY good reason to NOT get married. Divorce HAS helped a lot of women,and quite a few men. In clem-world how hellish would it have to be before someone gets a divorce, and secondly ....how many times have you been married?Marriage is a legal contract. One-party divorce means that liberal legislators interfered in that contract to the detriment of the person who wants to remain married.Why should one party be able to walk away from what they promised would be a life-long commitment?And divorce is terrible for children. Suck it up and get through it, at least until the kids are grown.
