As it turned out, after passing three tests with marks over 95% I got hired and he didn't.
I went from making just over minimum wage with no benefits to making way more than that with full benefits.
After working nights weekends and holidays in less than ideal surroundings ( to put it mildly) for three decades, I am now enjoying the retirement I deserve.
It's not the career I had chosen for myself.
That was hairdressing.
But because I developed severe allergies to the chemicals involved in that job, I had to quit.
So I made the best of a bad situation.
That's a 'mentality' called survival jackass.
