White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, speaking at a briefing Wednesday, described an ESPN commentator's tweets calling President Donald Trump "a white supremacist" as "a fireable offense."
Sanders was responding to a reporter's question about Jemele Hill's comments on social media on Monday.
The "SportsCenter" co-host, who is black, criticized Trump on Twitter, including deeming him "a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists" and "the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime."
