So what law would prevent all the other shootings? Keep in mind the majority of those shootings are committed with ILLEGALLY obtained weapons. Furthermore, you are concentrating on the MYTHICAL assault rifle. Keep in mind that according to FBI statistics there are less than THREE HUNDRED HOMICIDES A YEAR COMMITTED BY RIFLES IN GENERAL.

Next, legal gun purchases have INCREASED for 20 years while the homicide by gun has decreased.

Rifles are not the problem in America.
