As I noted, Carter inherited a moderately healthy economy from Ford.

Thanks to Carter's incompetence, the Misery Index rose by more than any president since WWII other than the economically incompetent Nixon.

12% inflation and rising as he left office.

The worst income losses in recorded US history.

18% or so Prime Rate.
Collapsing business and consumer confidence.

That's what a psychotic claims is success. :loco:

And it got much worse after he left office, that Reagan had to overcome.
