It was at the end of Carter's term, not the beginning.
Reagan was busy fixing Carter's inflation, etc.
Then Reagan carried Clinton's economy.
Then Clinton started us into a recession.
Then the dems finished it off with the subprime crisis.
Then Obama doubled the debt.
Other than that...the dems are way cool.
