Actually it is illegal to accept anything of value from a foreign government in an election and oppo research has value. Campaigns pay for it all the time.

It's ironic that you are ready to throw Hillary in jail for 'colluding' with Russians because Fusion GPS hired former MI6 agent Christopher Steele to investigate Trump's Russia-related activities, and yet you turn a blind eye to all the contacts that Trump campaign officials had directly with Russians and lied about.
