Given that Comey violated FBI guidelines by interfering in what should be a Justice Dept. decision to prosecute HRC or not, grossly mis-stated the pertinent federal law, betrayed a sitting president, lied to Americans and has acted in a deeply suspicious and perhaps illegal manner, it's Session's job to know what Comey was up to, even if that entailed investigating him.
Understand? It's Session's responsibility to make sure a sitting president isn't being undermined by unethical or illegal conduct.
