The picture is realJust because their's another picture taken before they set up the teleprompters were set up doesn't mean they weren't set up.It just proves he couldn't handle it, even in a grade school, without them.I never said the picture was fake, but there's more than one picture. It seems you completely ignored what the Weekly Standard said.Obama held two separate sessions at the school -- the first with students and a second for the media. And while he did use two teleprompters for his comments to the media he did not use them for his discussion with the students.Your post made it sound like he used a teleprompter to address the students. He did not. This is the picture of him talking to the students. No teleptompter in sight. And here is the pic of him addressing the press about his education policies, with teleprompters.I guess you're going to believe what you want to believe.Since the invention of the teleprompter, every president has used one, but if you want to make yourself look ridiculous by trying to say that a man who was voted president of the Harvard Law Review is stupid, then I guess that's your right. What's more, try reading ALL the words.I did. You said:Yeah, I heard about it.A teleprompter is used for speeches, usually in front of large crowds, as part of a professional appearance. Not for elementary school visits. That implies to me that you're saying that he needed a teleprompter to talk to the kids.I guess now you're going to pee on my leg and tell me it's raining, by telling me that, that is not what you were trying to imply when you characterized it as just an 'elementary school visit'?I said nothing about him needing it for the students, I just pointed out that there's a big difference between giving a major speech in front of thousands and an informal gathering in a small classroom.Well as you can see, he didn't use the teleprompter in the classroom. He only used it when he was giving a policy address to the press in another room, which was the actual purpose of the visit.I guess you could call that a professional appearance. It wasn't an informal gathering. He went there that day with his Education Secretary to lay out his education policy (Race To The Top) to the press and therefore to the country. So I guess you could call that a 'major speech in front of thousands' or millions in this case. You have every right to disagree with Obama on policy issues, but this **** about him not being able to speak without a teleprompter is no more credible than the Birther issue, and just as silly IMO.Snopes debunked this right wing myth long ago:Obama Uses Teleprompters To Talk To Elementary School KidsAnd you come back with a picture of W's bullet proof vest and say it's and earpiece? You gotta be kidding,,,,Actually yes, I was kidding. It's called a joke.Bullet proof vest? LMAOThat's a new one on me.
