On some issues Kristol is conservative, but he wrote an editorial strongly urging Republicans to give up their opposition to massive federal government; to simply govern and manage it without trying to reduce it.

On that most central issue to Conservatism, he's a sellout.

Isn't it ironic how the very same Conservatives/Republicans that Clem once had great respect for, he now throws under the bus, because they do not support the person in the WH, who for most of his life was a Liberal Democrat.

Here's a hint, Dim. They lost me many years ago long, long, LONG before Trump even considered running for office.

At this point in time, Trump is far, far, far more conservative than Kristol or that babbling liberal wackjob Scarborough.

George Will is a squish conservative who I've seen cave in his columns more time than I can count. If he was in office, he'd be a loser like so many pre-Gingrich, pre-Trump Republicans.
