Have you ever, EVER, complained because your "middle class and labor" representing democratic party took money from the "rich and corporate America"?I think I just did, several posts back. I don't have much use for Democrats either. They are only slightly better than Republicans when it comes to catering to the special interests. It's that slight difference that I'm clinging to in hopes that we are not sold down the river completely, but I'm pretty cynical on that point. And they are not MY Democratic Party.I am and always have been an unaffiliated voter.I know that with the situation your side has put the country in the last two years or so it's difficult carrying their flag, but they surely ain't carrying yours. Obama has betrayed nearly every single thing he ever promised to get his job. Why won't you just admit he's as big a crook as the republicans you hate so much? Why should I admit something that I don't believe? Like most politicians Obama said a lot of things to get elected. Whether he really wanted to do all the things he promised, only he can know that for sure. But once in office he had to face some harsh realities. Campaigning is one thing, governing is quite another.I'm amazed that you can say that my side has put this country in such a terrible situation in the last two years, while totally ignoring the mess that they were left to deal with. Anyone who believes that a country on the verge of a depression, could come back from that in two years is delusional, especially when they have to deal with one political party who sees it in their best political interest to keep the economy bad, and is blocking every effort to make it better. Before the 2010 midterm elections, the Republicans promised that they were going to focus on JOBS, JOBS JOBS. What have they done so far? They've introduced a bunch of symbolic pieces of legislation, and have focused on rolling back rights for women.Maybe you can point to one piece of legislation that they have introduced that has anything at all to do with job creation, because I haven't seen it. I don't see how focusing on anti-abortion legislation creates jobs.
