I would ask my buddy Clem why he thinks that 45 went to such lengths to concoct a story that the Trump Tower meeting with Russians was about adoption, if he had nothing to hide.
But he won't answer that question, so I won't bother.
There was nothing illegal about any such meeting, any more than it was illegal for Hillary Clinton and her campaign to meet with Ukrainian officials to get dirt and smears of Trump.
Nor was it illegal for Hillary and her campaign to pay Steele to create a pack of Russian-fed lies about Trump, which is why she and her campaign hid both.
But there is political embarrassment.
