the inspector general's report is coming out soon, although some now say it may be delayed to as late as May. But that would only be because it is growing more extensive and thus more worrying to certain parties. And a secret prosecutor, it is known, is now working with the IG, making it more worrying still.


The extent of what was occurring back when Sessions was "under investigation" is hinted at by an anonymous Internet character with the amusing moniker @NameRedacted7. He writes, as part of a thread:

At first glance this might seem like the ravings of some conspiracy theorist lurking in the further reaches of Reddit, but these days whatwere once conspiracy theories are looking more and more like reality. @NameRedacted7 puts it this way:

Despite the sketchy grammar -- this comes from a thread, as I noted -- @NR7 is making sense. If true, and I'm obviously persuaded that it is, we are coming into one of the most fascinating moments ever in American history.
I wrote the other day that this would be the "Gate of Gates," and that's not an understatement. Washington today is filled with nervous people -- and they should be.
