So just what the hell is the problem with voter ID? Really, why do you all get so frikken worked up over having to prove you are a citizen and showing up and proving who you say you are?Believe it or not there are millions of people in this country who don't have a government issued ID.Coincidently most of the people who will be disenfranchised by these laws, are people who tend to vote for Democrats.Well actually it's not a coincidence at all. That's the idea.So how do you feel about the officials in South Carolina lying about the many 'zombie voters' to justify their law?I really smell an opposition based on if all is even, things might be different than you wish.Republicans are the ones who don't want all things even. They know that the more people that vote, the more chance that Democrats win. That's why Republicans have been in the business of voter suppression and voter disenfranchisment for years. They make no secret of it.Paul Weyrich, "father" of the right-wing movement and co-founder of the Heritage Foundation, Moral Majority and various other groups once said, "I don't want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of people, they never have been from the beginning of our country and they are not now. As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down."
