He has the authority to investigate "any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation." I don't see any party label on that, and one of the most powerful Democrat lobbying firms in DC shut down overnight.
They were involved in one of the things Manafort was charged with; lobbying for foreign governments without registering as agents.
Why were they given immunity, but Manafort prosecuted for exactly what they did?
