If nothing else he is too partisan to sit on the SCOTUS.
During the hearings, Kavanaugh assured us that he believed: “A good judge must be an umpire — a neutral and impartial arbiter who favors no litigant or policy.
The Supreme Court must never be viewed as a partisan institution.
The justices on the Supreme Court do not sit on opposite sides of an aisle.
They do not caucus in separate rooms.”
But in his last appearance before the committee, just before the vote to send the nomination to the full Senate, Kavanaugh, losing his self control and patience, lashed out with the following:
“This whole two-week effort has been a calculated and orchestrated political hit fueled with apparent pent-up anger about President Trump and the 2016 election, fear that has been unfairly stoked about my judicial record, revenge on behalf of the Clintons,” he said.
He added that the Democrats were “lying in wait” to take him down.
The only thing missing from that statement was, “Lock her up.”
It was pure Trumpian language and probably written in the White House.
