Maybe because all through the campaign he lied about having nothing to do with Russia, while he was in negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.

That was a big fat lie that he repeated many times.

The reason the story had plausibility is because Individual-1 had already directed his fixer Michael Cohen to commit a felony once.

So if he did it once it's not that far-fetched to believe that he might have done it again.

These are people who pay people off in bags of cash like **** gansters to commit crimes.
They are dirty as hell.
The whole lot of them.

But they were all very careful to say that their network had been unable to confirm it.
