Personally I don't really care what Mueller's report says.AP source: Mueller report not expected next week.
Special counsel Robert Mueller's report on the Russia investigation is not expected to be delivered to the Justice Department next week, a senior department official told The Associated Press on Friday.
The official could not discuss the matter publicly and spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity. It was not immediately clear when the report might come, though Mueller is showing signs of concluding his probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election and ties to the Trump campaign.
I have known since before the election that 45 was not fit for the office he holds, and those feelings have only been compounded by what has come to light since the election.
It's clear that he surrounded himself with a bunch of criminals who were perfectly willing to collude with a foreign adversary and use what they knew to be stolen material in order to win an election.
(And in the case of Paul Manafort, provide the Russians with proprietary inside polling from the campaign to help them understand which areas of the country they needed to target with their disinformation.)
45 himself repeatedly praised Wikileaks for disseminating what he knew were hacked/stolen emails.
Almost every one of his campaign officials were meeting with Russians and lying about it, which innocent people don't do.
And we are supposed to believe that he knew nothing about what they were doing, including members of his own family?
Right.
It really doesn't matter to me whether or not Mueller can prove that it rose to the level of a conspiracy.
As far as any obstruction of justice, that was pretty much done out in the open, starting with the firing of James Comey.
45 admitted openly to Lester Holt that he did it with 'this Russia thing' on his mind, and he told two Russian officials in the Oval Office that it took the pressure off of him.
That said, I do not want to see him impeached only to be found not guilty in the Senate.
His supporters would see that as a win.
And if by some chance he was found guilty in the Senate, that will only feed into their false narrative about the so-called 'Deep State Coup.'
The best way for him to leave office is to be defeated badly enough in the 2020 election, that phony calls of voter fraud would fall on deaf ears.
He needs to be soundly rejected by the American electorate.
