Yes, I see it very clearly. Tucker Carlson savaged the guy by calling him a "rapist."
That's what you dishonestly called a "defense."

But if the marriage was legal, you cannot charge Jeffs with a non-crime, no matter how utterly despicable he is. He can only be charged with crimes he committed, no matter how utterly immoral the acts he did that were legal, assuming they were.

If that was what the case was, Carlson is correct on the matter of law. Carlson expressed what seems to be a valid legal opinion.

I would never, EVER believe that Carlson defended Jeffs in the slightest, having watched and read him for years now.
