On March 8th Speaker Boehner's Transportation bill died an unceremonious death.Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood, a former Republican congressman, called it "the worst transportation bill I've ever seen during 35 years of public service."Boehner is a total failure who can't even get his own caucus in line.It's not entirely his fault that Senate Dems and likely some Repub hacks want to continue vast deficit overspending, whereas conservatives and Tea Party supporters want to cut it a little.From your source:Senior members on the Appropriations Committee are urging the leadership to stick to a spending cap of $1.047 trillion agreed to as part of last year's debt-limit deal with the White House.
