I think I just did, several posts back. And they are not MY Democratic Party.I am and always have been an unaffiliated voter.Lip service only.I'm talking about on the daily basis that you post about. You are all over the republicans like white on rice and except for your once in a while exceptions, say nothing about the dems doing the same thing. For example, how many threads did you make about repubs doing so in the last election cycle vs the dems? Why should I admit something that I don't believe? Like most politicians Obama said a lot of things to get elected. Whether he really wanted to do all the things he promised, only he can know that for sure. But once in office he had to face some harsh realities. Campaigning is one thing, governing is quite another. So you excuse the dems, Obama, for not keeping his promises, meanwhile, how many threads have you made critisizing the repubs for not keeping theirs since the mid-terms?I'm amazed that you can say that my side has put this country in such a terrible situation in the last two years, while totally ignoring the mess that they were left to deal with. Anyone who believes that a country on the verge of a depression, could come back from that in two years is delusional, especially when they have to deal with one political party who sees it in their best political interest to keep the economy bad, and is blocking every effort to make it better.Did the economy get better or worse during Obama's first two years, when the dems had both houses of Congress AND the White House? Before the 2010 midterm elections, the Republicans promised that they were going to focus on JOBS, JOBS JOBS. What have they done so far? They've introduced a bunch of symbolic pieces of legislation, and have focused on rolling back rights for women. Is unemployment better or worse since the midterms?Maybe you can point to one piece of legislation that they have introduced that has anything at all to do with job creation, because I haven't seen it. I don't see how focusing on anti-abortion legislation creates jobs.I don't see how focusing on anti-abortion legislation is kow-towing to evil corporate interests. But that's all you Libs say they do once in office.
