Isn't he supposed to be the president of the whole country, or is he just the president of rural America?
During his campaign and in his inaugural address he promised to fix the problems in cities like Baltimore or Chicago.

And the POTUS is a Republican who promised the folks in inner cities that he would fix their problems.
You can't put it all on mayors.
How the hell is he fixing anything by insulting the people in those cities?
If there are any people living there that might have been inclined to vote for him, he blew that.
He seems bound and determined to shrink his base instead of growing it.

Using data from the “Biggest US Cities” website, Nate Silver of fivethirtyeight.com took to Twitter to point out that Cummings’s district has “above-average college education rates and home prices, along with a pretty good mix of urban and suburban areas (even some rural), and well-off, working-class and middle-class areas.”
Silver also pointed out the district is the second-wealthiest majority-black district in the country, with a $58,000 median household income.
