Laura Ingraham pointed out that Gates waited until after Obama's re-election before he published his book. Bolton should have done the same.
Presidents deserve confidentiality from their advisers for a period of time.
Not if they are breaking the law.
Speaking of confidentiality, this is how you waive executive privilege.
Executive privilege is the right of the president to maintain confidential communications with his advisers.
Sniffles waived that right when he spoke publicly about his communications with Bolton.
