The "spike" is hugely exaggerated, and yes, those Republican governors chose not to strangle their citizens with unnecessary restrictions on freedom the way Democrat governors did.
Their states are still in excellent shape.

Once again we are seeing exhausted doctors and nurses on TV begging people to follow the CDC quidelines, and some states and cities are running out of ICU beds.
