Strawman. Literally no one believes that the climate is static. No one. Hot summer days are used to bolster the argument for AGW, which is just as ignorant as using cold winters to bolster the converse. The central question is "How much does human activity impact global climate?". That answer seems to be little to none. Human activity contributes a small fraction of greenhouse gas emissions.
