Maybe you should talk to Wayne LaPierre about that. 40% of the weapons sold are sold with no backround checks at all, thanks to things like the gun show loophole, which the NRA fights to keep in effect, even though 74% of NRA members believe that loophole needs to be closed. Never mind the numbers The guns used in the incidents under discussion weren't purchased through the so-called "loophole" anyway.
