*******, those parts that had to be redesigned? That is the guts of the weapon. Those parts are what make that weapon designed for battlefield use. Those are the engine so to speak of a combat assault rifle. Nod if you understand?
When you replace those parts with the below parts, that were redesigned, you have removed what makes it a weapon for battlefield use. With the below parts it is no longer a combat weapon. And as the source provided says you can not interchange the parts to make it automatic.
Yes, it is a redesign. Not a modification. A modification would be adding a mount for a scope, or changing where the charging handle is. They built a new weapon.
