He just likes the term 'Based on'. Like 'Based on a true story'. Useful propaganda...zero objective merit.

What his real issue is although people from all over the political spectrum own the semi automatic he stereotypes the right wing gun owners as rabid militia members who are not very bright.  ALthough they represent a very small percentage of gun owners.  He does not like those people.  He has consistently stated that the military APPEARANCE of the rifle has attracted those type of people so the weapon must be banned.
